She is known as the French Beth Hart: singer and guitarist Jessie Lee is undoubtedly one of the most striking and captivating voices in European blues rock today.
As part of the quintet with guitarist-composer Alexis “Mr AL” Didier, bassist Laurent Cokelaere, drummer Stéphane Minana and organist Laurian Daire, formed in 2015 , she channels the spirit of the 1970s into unbridled creativity.
Already with their very first album, the band opened the doors to Europe and racked up accolades, with amongst them, five awards at the International Mississippi Blues Trail Challenge in 2018, the top five at the European Blues Challenge 2022 in Malmö, and the Cognac Blues Passions award (31st edition).
At the end of 2024, Jessie Lee was named ‘Voice of the Year’ by the France Blues Award and a few months later the singer and the “alchemists” recorded their third album entitled ‘Legacy’, where emotional richness blends with the burning energy of the performance.
Their tour to promote this new opus will begin in spring 2026, and Roots & Roses will be one of the first festivals where audiences can discover this alchemy between roots and modernity.
